How To Teach A Bear To Sing is a lyrical 280-word picture book for children 2 to 6. Bear first encounters an owl who insists she is humming in her sleep. Next, she meets a young boy who wonders if a humming bear can sing. They make a plan. Bear’s confidence grows as she stretches and hummmm-zes and la, la, las with the help of new friends. It’s when Bear fails to put words to her song that she must dig deep and find the courage to try again.
